The Dad's Workshops program has been developed to help everyday
dads, cope with all the challenges our families are confronted with in
this ever changing world we live in.
This weekend workshop offers each of us [as fathers] the opportunity to do a
multitude of things, including:
* Learn to use effective methods of communication with your children.
* Learn to embrace the challenges that your kids are facing.
* Know what works to help kids develop a strong sense of purpose and self confidence.
* Learn to instill solid values [morally and spirituality] in your children, while strengthening your own.
* Empower your children through encouragement without pressure.
* Reassure yourself that you are not alone in the challenges you face as a father, regardless of how extraordinary those challenges may seem.
* Build alliances with other fathers devoted to leadership within their homes.
* Be made aware of what works [through proven examples] when helping your children deal with; peer pressure, adolescence, getting picked on or even alienated, and so many other concerns we want to help our kids escape from.
* And so much more...
Join us for this ‘life-
Just a few examples of why I felt compelled to asked Joe and Jan to mentor my wife and I were:
* Their six oldest graduated high school as the valedictorian from Alexandria Monroe High School. Their seventh and eighth graduated with honors from Carmel High School. Their ninth is currently in high school.
* The six oldest graduated from the University of Notre Dame; three with honors. Their seventh graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Dayton. Their eighth is currently on the academic Dean’s List at Purdue University.
* All of their children work hard not only in their homes but work equally has hard in our community and church.
* Each of their children excel in most everything they attempt to do.
If I were to list all of their accomplishments it would certainly seem unbelievable. What makes them unique, is that Joe and Jan do not come from "money" or exceptional breading (although Joe's mom is an angel), and they certainly don't seek fame or fortune. Joe has been a high school math teacher for 28 years and Jan a stay at home mom until just recently when an opportunity to teach grade school became available.
Apply the methods they have mastered and you to can raise your children with confidence.
