The Dad's Workshop will be led by Joe Lustig, the father of 9 and grandfather of 13. Sharing from personal experiences, he will open your mind and heart to new ideas that have helped him and his wife raise some of the most extraordinary children.
Just a few examples of why I have chosen to ask Joe and his wife Jan to mentor my wife and I are:
* Their eight oldest children graduated high school, six of which were valedictorian of there class. The youngest has not yet graduated.
* The seven oldest have completed their college careers, all in four (4) years. Four graduated with honors. The eighth child is currently a sophomore at Purdue University, and their youngest is a junior at Guerin Catholic High School.
* All of their children work hard not only in their homes but work equally as hard in their church and Community.
* Each of their children excel in most everything they attempt to do.
If I were to list all of their family's accomplishments it would certainly seem unbelievable. What makes them unique, is that Joe and Jan do not come from "money" or exceptional breeding (although Joe's mom is an angel), and they certainly don't seek fame or fortune. (Joe has taught 36 years, Jan a stay at home mom until their youngest child reached grade school. She now teaches middle school at a Catholic school.)
Instead, they have developed strategies for parenting through trial and error and hard work. After much encouragement/prodding they are willing to share their successes.
